Summary: The best primer to help you be your own best advocate!
Content: I bought this book months ago and it so helped in my battle with hashimoto's disease. I don't agree with everything in the book - but overall the content is excellent and fair and Mary Shamon gives patients the essential tools they need to make sure they get heard by their doctor's and pursue the best care possible. The fact is- not one treatment works for everyone. I am very grateful and purchased the last few copies as gifts for other people who are recently being diagnosed as hypothyroid.
